JOINING [TYME]

Everything to get up + running

How does it work?

TYME is a flexible subscription service. We supply delicious, ready-to-eat food and beverages. All our products are plant-based and packed full of plant-based fibres. Our plans are fully flexible. Skip or cancel at any time! Our friendly team is here to help you out with any account questions. Email us at [email protected].

What does my plan contain?

The Flexi-box leaves you in control. Pick any items you wish to try. The minimum order spend for this box is £30 and all orders over £40 have free delivery.

We use fresh ingredients with no preservatives and believe that whole-foods are the way forward - it's the easiest way to ensure you know what you're putting in your body when you’re busy and on-the-go. Helping you to eat better and do more.

How does our pricing work?

Our current prices can all be seen here on our food page, check it out.

https://www.tymefood.com/menu

For our food, we endeavour to make our prices as fair and reasonable as possible. Whilst ensuring we're doing things the right way it’s not always the cheapest way, particularly when it comes to sustainable packaging, produce and delivery. We're continuously investing in making everything we do better and more sustainable so you can get TYME and feel great about it.

Giving back

We donate to our charity partner GROW for every Flexibox and regularly organise fundraisers to support their fantastic work supporting children to learn more about nature and sustainable practices.

Allergen Guidance

All our products are 100% plant-based and are free from ingredients containing animal products, including; meat, dairy, eggs, fish, crustaceans and molluscs.

As a small team, we're focused on creating a wealth of options so that everybody can find something they can eat and enjoy regardless of their dietary needs.

We advise you to view all ingredients of any dish by clicking on the photos of the product within your account. All allergen information will be in bold.

How do we source our produce?

We champion sustainable, British produce wherever possible.

Our tinned products are all ethical. The rest of our dry store ingredients are predominantly sustainable too or of equivalent high quality brands that we approve ourselves. All our veg is sourced fresh from New Covent Garden Market. We source our herbs from Harvest Farms. A hydroponic farm located just a few miles from us in Leytonstone.

If you have any questions or problems, please don't hesitate to get in touch at [email protected].

When do you release new recipes?

We're constantly creating new and exciting dishes. To keep it fresh, we rotate dishes throughout the year, releasing new options to suit the seasons. Keep up to date with our new dishes by signing up to our newsletter here.

How long does my food last?

Our food is made fresh every Friday and delivered every Sunday ready for the week ahead. The shelf life is at least 1 week from production so until the Friday after delivery.

How can I store my food?

The best way to store all of the food is in the fridge. It will remain fresh until the Friday after delivery.

You can freeze the snacks to make them last longer but we don't recommend freezing our other products as the food is fresh and certain ingredients don't freeze well.

How can I heat my food?

All of our lunches are designed to be eaten cold however some can be heated too.

1) Microwave: Empty the bottom layer into a bowl. Heat on high for 2-3 minutes.

1) Hob: Empty the bottom layer into a saucepan. Heat on medium for 5 minutes, stirring regularly.

2) Then: Add the top layer and season to your taste. Our meals aren't overly seasoned to retain a better shelf life.

SUSTAINABILITY

Is our packaging sustainable?

We are doing everything we can to reduce the amount of plastic we use as well as using materials and processes that have as little environmental impact as possible. 100% of our packaging is either recyclable, biodegradable or compostable. We work with Foodsteps who use life-cycle assessment data on carbon footprint, land use, water use, and pollution to asses our food and packaging. We are committed to transparency and so you will find each product’s carbon rating on the bottle.

What’s more we’ve taken steps to ensure TYME remains as sustainable as possible and have a minimal impact:

  • We don’t use plastic insulation that you may have seen used in other boxes.
  • We use the minimum amount of raw materials in our packaging
  • All food is made to order which avoids the bulk of food waste.
  • We use FSC Certified board and paper for our boxes and recipe cards.
  • The plastics we use are all recyclable. We use plastic as it does a better job at keeping the food and beverages fresher for longer.
What does it mean to be a B Corp?

B Corp Certification is a designation that a business is meeting high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency on factors from employee benefits and charitable giving to supply chain practices and input materials. In order to achieve certification, a company must:

  • Demonstrate high social and environmental performance by achieving a B Impact Assessment score of 80 or above and passing our risk review. Multinational corporations must also meet baseline requirement standards.
  • Make a legal commitment by changing their corporate governance structure to be accountable to all stakeholders, not just shareholders, and achieve benefit corporation status if available in their jurisdiction.
  • Exhibit transparency by allowing information about their performance measured against B Lab’s standards to be publicly available on their B Corp profile on B Lab’s website.

B Corp Certification is holistic, not exclusively focused on a single social or environmental issue.
